Two options to resolve that issue: 1. Setup to embed/parse PHP in HTML 2. Rename your HTML file(s) to PHP file(s) So, if you didn't setup to embed/parse PHP in HTML, you have only 1 option that you have to rename your HTML file(s) to PHP file(s)

2 and 2.2 are different almost completely so in order to upgrade, you have to uninstall 2 so make sure to backup your web data and databases before uninstalling

Is your wamp running? If not, then your WP can't run. Also, make sure that your local IP does not change so you can access your WP w/i LAN

Theory, you can have both, but practically, they might conflict in some ways w/ any wamp package, including this wampserver suite. You didn't make it clear. After reformat your hard drive, did you reinstall wamp or just simply copy wamp folder? If copy, it won't work and you need to reinstall. In case you've already followed my Backup guide, after reinstall, you can simply copy backup www and mysql folders to the new one.
