Wamp for Production?

We are using WampServer 2.0 now for some small production web apps...

I'm assuming this is fine? Is there anything I should be aware of, or "maintenance" type things I should be doing over time?

Thanks for any info.

Great - good advice - thank you...

Should I be worried about upgrading WAMP to 2.2? (We are on 2.0)

If so, is the upgrade difficult?

I'm assuming it does not upgrade the versions of apache, php or mysql, it just upgrades the wamp stuff?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks!

2 and 2.2 are different almost completely so in order to upgrade, you have to uninstall 2 so make sure to backup your web data and databases before uninstalling winking smiley

If I upgrade to 2.2 - will that change my versions of Apache, PHP, etc??? More importantly, I'm assuming it will not remember the PHP options selected, like CURL, etc....?

This would be pretty dangerous I think - once I uninstall, and install 2.2, we would have to test all the applications to make sure everything works....

What does the 2.2 upgrade give us??
