I had to reformat my drive yesterday and now when I try to bring up localhost from wamp server I get the Chrome can not connect to localhost it is the same with Phpmyadmin. I could use some help I don't have the IIS runing nor do I have the firewall on. I don't have service pack 2 but I will try downloading it now.

Thanks

You didn't make it clear. After reformat your hard drive, did you reinstall wamp or just simply copy wamp folder? If copy, it won't work and you need to reinstall. In case you've already followed my Backup guide, after reinstall, you can simply copy backup www and mysql folders to the new one. If not setup Backup, then you should do it right away after reinstall wamp successful

You should setup Backup right after setup Wamp successful, so you can go back if something wrong later

Thanks, I did a re-install of wamp but I didn't do the back before I started to build a web site with Modx. I haven't gotten very far with a site so I think the best thing for me to do is start over and doing the back up of wamp right away then start a project in Modx.

I have been playing around with DropBox as a backup, it is a cloud. Would it work for a good place to put the backup or should I just use the UBS backup that I have.

Thanks for the help
