Wamp issues

Hello,

Well, i was running a local version of wordpress and everything was great - until I shut down my wampserver. I am new to using it and so I made some changes and set the server offline. Once I restarted it my locally installed version of Wordpress would give me a Forbidden error. Before I shut down the wamp server and restarted it I was able to:

- View my wordpress site locally on the installed machine.
- View my wordpress site on other computers on the intranet.

Now? I just get the forbidden message and cannot access anything. Please, if anyone could help a new user it would be huge!
Thanks!

Is your wamp running? If not, then your WP can't run. Also, make sure that your local IP does not change so you can access your WP w/i LAN winking smiley

1. What changes did you make and exactly what problems are you getting??

so I made some changes and set the server offline

2: Setting the server Offline changes httpd.conf to Allow access from 127.0.0.1 ONLY. This is why you will not be able to access the server from other IP's on your network.
