Hi Steve, Thank you for the quick response. That folder was from a zipped upgrade I received from Sourceforge. They display the wampserver icon and I thought they were project partners with you. Their upgrade from 3.5.1 to 3.5.7 would be seamless. In any event, I replaced the original phpMyAdmin folder3.5.1 Regards, -Paul-

Thank you Bill, and Steve. That is what was hamstringing me. The Microsoft IIS was still active so I went to Control Panel->Programs->Tirn Program Features On/Off. Killed ISS Now wampserver works like a charm, except it requires some sort of password for the phpMyAdmin stuff. Regards, -Paul-

Hi Everybody, I've just tried to use phpMyAdmin for the first time. The operation took me to a HTML page in my browser saying: This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.
