yes. in ur httpd file you need to go doen to the line- listen 80 and change it to listen 8080 or i would reccoment changing it to listen 192.168.2.5 as this means its listening to only a single ip address and not a while port. in your router allow port forwarding/pinhole on port 8080 and fill in ur ipaddress to forawrd it to need anymore help just ask

kinda confusing,,, first of all use no-ip at no-ip.com. it automatically checks ur ip and changes it, secondly i would not use port 80 most isp's block port 80. so even if u get it right it will block it, use port 8080 in no-ip select a free domain name and use there port forwarding.

obviously 2.2.8 is more secure then 2.2.6 apache group are constantly looking at ways to fix bugs. as to how much better it is??? i doubt much look at www.apache.org for a list of problems that were fixed from 2.2.6 to 2.2.8

ok well its just like apache config files in ur .htaccess file put this order deny,allow deny from all allow from localhost this will allow scripts thru dont use any names or passwords this way, the folder in not accessible from web

no no no. mysql is telling you that your using root with no password. not that the password is no. explain wat ur doing,, u have wamp started... the icon is white....... you open browser. you go to h t t p : / / l o c a l h o s t / p h p m y a d m i n / and u get this 1045 error?

you need to let wampmysqld-nt as a port in the firewall iv showed this before open up control panel- windows firewall press the exceptions tab click ADD PORT NAME = wampmysqld-nt PORT = 3306 CHECK THE TCP BOX AND PRESS OK then restart pc

wat exactly do u mean? are you talking about on the web??? if u make two folders in ur www folder then u can access the two sites like this http:/localhost/website1/ http:/localhost/website2/ but if you want to do this 1. then u need to buy the domains you wants 2. have a static ip address 3. set up pin holes in ur router

i cant actually answer that for you, i have no idea why uninstalling wouldnt work. the only thing i can think of is that you didnt uninstall it properly. when you unistall wamp the folder wamp is still left with some files in it including databases, installing wamp again - must not overwrite files of the same file name, you need to delete this folder before reinstalling. g

the only way you can really get by this is to close wampserver and make sure mysql service is ended , delete the user tables in the mysql database found at .... c:wamp\mysql\data\mysql - delete the 3files user.frm user.MYI user.MYD then replace them with original copies. iv uploaded the basic 3 files up onto my server for you, u can download them from the

yet again this problem seems to occur. you need to allow the service mysql on windows firewall/ after you install wamp, restart ur pc. and start wamp windows will ask is msqlnt.exe allowed to run and accept it then its fine
