apache 2.2.6 insecure?

I love WampServer 2, but Securia PSI software inspector flags apache 2.2.6 as "insecure" and recommends updating to apache 2.2.8. Being just a user and not a programmer, I can't incorporate 2.2.8 into WampServer. I tried overwriting the files, etc. I am going to continue using WampServer with caution, but an update would be fantastic. No program I have yet found is as easy to use as WampServer2. I always used Wamp 5 in the past.
Any help would be much apreciated. Thank you.

apache group are constantly looking at ways to fix bugs.

as to how much better it is??? i doubt much

look at www.apache.org for a list of problems that were fixed from 2.2.6 to 2.2.8
