@ RiggsFolly Defiantly will try it right after i get off the forum ..... Just to clarify all of this i know for a fact its not causing any harm to WAMP or WEBSITES but it gets annoying to see hundreds of php error logs also having to delete it everyday can be a pain.

Yes, ok maybe I should explain better...lol The thing is I have been running wamp for quit sometime and I am rusty on things and Im also running a few sites using virtual hosts.... But I have noticed a lot of attempts at trying to access my database in my apache log error files, especially from requests that ask for 150 to 500 attempts at leasts each week by a differnet ip. the question I have, is there anyways to block them from trying? Example: (20024)The given path is misformatted or contained invalid characters: Cannot map GET /w00tw00t.at.blackhats.romania

That would be same question I had in mind BUT your saying after installing the newer wamp over the older wamp nothing upgraded to the newer version??? Another thing is I would also like to know is the VHOSTS the same as the model version i am using right now cause i cant afford too upgrade and loose much time as we speak cause i got 8 websites running and making me money LIVE! I got Gmail to work inside wamp Gmail requires you to use SSL authentication, a further step is required if you don't already have php configured for this: 1. open your php.ini file. Now uncomment the ;extension=php_openssl.dll. extension=php_openssl.dll 2. Save the php.ini file and restart your server. 3.Try running your php again, it should send the mail. I got it to work
