I upgraded to the most resecent release yesterday and am generally pleased. But a really simple question: I cannot seem to see in the config files how to make sqlbuddy and webgrind appear anywhere in any menu. What is the simple trick I'm missing???

I posted a msg a while back about my wampserver taskbar icon not appearing in the taskbar. A few days later it "magically" appeared again :-). Now it is gone again :-{ . Anyone have any ideas as to what the heck is going on? Running the patched, latest wampserver, Windows XP.

It comes on briefly upon startuyp and immediately disappears. I have used every properties setting in Windows I can think of to get it back, but nothing changes. It blips on for a second and then disappears. It ran stably and correctly for many months and the change just happened overnight. System is the unupdated version running on windows XP SP3 fully patched Any ideas?

I downloaded php_printer.dll from the php site. I then copied it to the extensions directory of wampserver. Then I edited the php.ini file to define this extension. When I restart services I get error messages stating that there is a mismatch. How do I correctly install php_printer.dll I am using php5.3.0 Thanks for any help out there.

I am hardly a guru. Anything but. But I'd make a small bet that if you go to the MySQL Console application (a command line box) which is accessed from the MySQL tab of the WAMP taskbar icon, you will be able to access your database by just hitting return where it asks for a password. Thanks. Tried this (both steps) and there was still no joy for a bit. Still could access in the consoloe app but not in phpmyadmin. Then thought to clear all the caches in IE (being vanilla for a client). Worked. I wonder, even suppose, that was the problem all along. Anyway to all having phpmyadmin connection problems, and I see many are here, I would STRONGLY suggest that you clear the b

I downloaded WAMP and installed the system on a tablet PC in order to install a system which collects forms data in a health setting. It works very well. I have tried to duplicate that system on a second identical tablet PC and have run into all sorts of problems when I changed the root password on the second system to the identical password I used on the first system. On the problem machine,
