I downloaded php_printer.dll from the php site. I then copied it to the extensions directory of wampserver. Then I edited the php.ini file to define this extension.

When I restart services I get error messages stating that there is a mismatch. How do I correctly install php_printer.dll

I am using php5.3.0

Thanks for any help out there.

I should add the following:

I noticed that the .dll from the php site appeared to be vfor version 5.2.16.0 so I searched for and found a dll that was for php5.3. I still get the following...

The warning is:
"PHP Startup:printer:Unable to initialize module.
Module compiled with module API=20071006
PHP compiled with module API=20090626
These options need to match

The php_printer.dll is labeled 5.3.0.0

I am running WampServer on an XP machine completely on an intranet.

I'm currently working on the same problem. However, I do not get any error messages when starting apache.

How did you modify the php.ini file? I simply added extension=php_printer.dll and added the .dll to the php/ext dir. Did you have to do anything different?

I did find this thread that may be helpful: [marc.info] The two links to zip files are for the php_printer.dll compiled against 5.3.0 php
