We use to run wamp with just a x64 version of MySQL
I wonder if u can just install a x32 version of MySQL and have it working. Forum: WampServer English
Yes it's possible but to run them at the same time requires some serious modification.
If you don't want to run both at the same time then u can go ahead and just install another copy in a new folder and use the menu to uninstall and reinstall the services. Ul need to do that each time to swap between them Forum: WampServer English
YOU DONT NEED FILE ZILLA
just put the files in c:\wamp\www
if you want to put the files onto your pc remotely you need FILEZILLA SERVER and open the port in your firewall in router Forum: WampServer English
thats a bug in an older version
open c:\wamp\alias\
check the phpmyadmin file and you will notice a path to the folder..
if you check the other two files you will see there is a phpmyadmin path incorrectly there. you will need to change it to the path at the top of each file. Forum: WampServer English
i never mentioned the firewall..
i said in the router...
in windows firewall you will need it open for sure - privately is enough for local use , public if you want it across your local network.
but yes as long as wamp is offline apache will forbid access to pages on localhost ( it will allow access to badly setup vhosts but yours are set up ok)
3306 is used for mysql.
rou Forum: WampServer English
ive only woken up so im probably not seeing it, but the file looks ok
anyway to test it. you can use httpd.exe to check for errors
In cmd navigate to C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.X.X
and 1 of these will get you sorted
httpd.exe -S
httpd.exe -t
httpd.exe -T
the username is "root" and the password is not set.
if port 80 is open in your router and wamp is runn Forum: WampServer English
delete all the users in phpmyadmin except for "root" "localhost"
then edit that user and add a password
in the config.inc.php add your password to the password= ''; Forum: WampServer English
The other two warning are normal.
you should set a password and you dont need to worry about the other warning as you wont need the feature its talking about Forum: WampServer English
in the config.inc.php
is this the latest version of wamp that was only released? i havent checked it out yet
open c:\wamp\apps\phpmyadmin\config.inc.php
search for
cookie
and change it to
