Hi,
What I can already say is that your VirtualHost has not been created or added by the tool integrated in Wampserver ('http://localhost/add_vhost. php'); if that had been the case, there would be no errors.

You should have read the explanations before the Wampserver installation actually started, but you haven't read them and yet what is written in bold and blue and red in the installer window?
- Uninstall Wampserver.
- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.

Hi,
By switching from Wampserver 2 to Wampserver 3.1.0, you have changed PHP and MySQL versions.
Check that your code is compatible with the new versions.
Your problem has absolutely nothing to do with Wampserver.

Hi,
To try to understand and solve this problem (I don't have a 4K Native hard drive), please do the following on your Wampserver installation on D: 4K native. I thank you for that.
We can try to create the MySQL data folder "by hand" and see what happens and, to avoid being bothered by MariaDB, we can start by not using it (temporarily) with Wampserver, so:

Yes. it is "factory formatting".
Very few sellers, either online or in stores, give this information.

Hi,
For your drive D:
Bytes Per Sector : 4096
Bytes Per Physical Sector : 4096
Bytes Per Cluster : 4096
The size of logical sectors is the same as physical sectors and is 4096 bytes. This is called "4K native" and is called low-level formatting or factory formatting and cannot be changed by the user.

Hi,
As your Wampserver install is d:\wamp\ do that:
Open a command windows "as an administrator" (The word administrator MUST be in the title bar) and type:
fsutil fsinfo volumeinfo d:
There MUST be the word "NTFS" in the result.
If there is no NTFS, it is not worth continuing, Wampserver can only work on an NTFS disk
We will now look at the characteristics of NTF Forum: WampServer English

Hi,
I think I've done my best, but you still have a solution that could work.
Precisely keep your old data folder.
Uninstall Wampserver 3.1.0 completely.
Reinstall Wampserver 2.2e
Check that this version works well: PHP, MySQL and PhpMyAdmin.
Exit Wampserver 2.2 and replace the MySQL version data folder with yours.
After that, I have no solution.

Hi,
A priori, your old version of Wampserver was Wampserver 2.2e which included MySQL 5.5.24 and PHP 5.3.13.
But, before installing a MySQL 5.5.24 addon on Wampserver 3.1.0, it must be fully functional, i. e. with green icon and PHP and MySQL functional.
In addition, the active PHP version must be a version of the 5.6 branch, i. e. no PHP 7,7.1 or 7.2.

It won't do me any good! This is the my.ini file of the old version I need.

Bonjour,

- Where is (what folder) your old version of Wampserver?
From what you wrote previously, it seems that you uninstalled this old version; is that the case?

Hi,
Copying and pasting databases between data folders of different versions of MySQL could eventually work with older versions (5.0 or 5.1) of MySQL.
But it is totally out of the question to carry out this kind of manipulation with versions of branches 5.5,5.6 and 5.7, even within the same branch.
