Wamp not turn green

Hello all,
I installed and configured wamp 3.1.0 (x64bit) in my PC, but the internet connection is down on my landline and wamp server is giving orange light. Also, I can 't login to localhost.

I checked for port 80 which is not used and also checked the port for "Orange light".

Changed to manual DNS for network connection with 127.0.0.1 but I still get only "Orange light ".

I removed # from 127.0.0.1 localhost in Windows C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host file but still no change.

Also, I tried checking port from command netstat -aon | findstr: 80

How can I resolve this error?

Hi,

- 1 - READ (and answer) BEFORE YOU ASK A QUESTION

- 2 - What the result of :
Right-Click wampmanager tray icon -> Tools -> Check port 80

- 3 - Apply item 03 and 08 of TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Documentation Apache - Documentation PHP - Documentation MySQL - Wampserver install files & addons

Hi,

With some systems, if the internet connection fails the Network Stack does not load, or does not load completely.

As Apache and MySQL both make use of the TCP stack, if it is not there you will see issues like this.

But for future reference, when you get issues the first thing to do is look at the error logs in \wamp\logs.
If that does not help then you must look at the Windows event viewer for error messages from Apache and/or MySQL. Then at least you will know what issue you are actually trying to solve.

Hi,

> The problem was solved automatically after the Internet was back
Does the answer of:

Right-Click wampmanager tray icon -> Tools -> Check DNS search order

is

Values of registry keys for
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\ServiceProvider
are in correct order
