403 permission error after moving www to D drive

After moving the www folder from my C drive to my D drive I'm getting a permission error. I read much of what's on the web but, as a novice with WAMP, I'm not sure I understand what suggestions apply to my case.

The steps I followed were:

- Move the www folder to the D drive
- Changed DocumentRoot in httpd config to point to the D drive
- Changed the test server path in DW

When I started getting the permission error I made the change to phpadmin config that is posted on the web (i.e. order allow, deny and allow from all). Didn't fix the problem.

I've been reading of additional changes needed in httpd but, as a novice, I don't know if the suggestions apply in the case of what I'm trying to do (i.e. get www off my C drive).

there is two paths that need to be changd in the httpd.conf

the document root

and the <directory>

search the file for "c:\wamp\www"

you probably only have one left - so change to d:\www

Steven, thanks. That appears to have been it. I'll post back if further testing shows the problem again.

For other users' reference, the format in httpd.conf is "c:/wamp/www" (a forward slash).

Very much appreciate your help.
