WampServer

I have uncommented at php.ini the line "extension=php_zip.dll" and Wampserver returns "Unable to load dynamic library 'e:/wamp/bin/php/php5.3.5/ext/php_zip.dll' - The specified module could not be found."
Of course... that DLL do not exist at "ext" folder.

I searched and at [www.php.net] you can read "Windows users need to enable php_zip.dll inside of php.ini in order to use these functions." - of course!

But where we can get this DLL? At the same page, we read: "Installation via PECL: A DLL for this PECL extension is currently unavailable".

Also searched at this Forums and did not find an answer. If there is already a thread about this issue, could you please post a link so I can read it?

its not needed. built into php5.3+ already

It is not included! I have installed WampServer Version 2.2 with php 5.3.10 and its not included.
I also donwloaded the latest php version from php.net and php_zip is not included.
Without this its impossible to automatically update wordpress locally

its included as stated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you dont need the extension as its BUILT INTO PHP
