I'm late to the thread and my problem is just a little different. I have a green icon, and I'm online but when I try to run phpmyadmin I get a 404 page, anyone run into this before?

search and remove any php.ini, my.ini, my.conf, or my.cnf file outside wamp folder

I followed Steven's Advice and I couldn't get it to work until I cleared my browser's cache.

I have installed the wamp server recently and it is not getting turned green from orange.I have checked with the posts and found the wampapache to be started in the windows services however,when i am trying to strat it is showing the error "windows can not start the wampapche on your local computer"

Could you please suggest me in sorting this problem out..

i install wamp server in my laptop many times..windows 7 home based...everytimke i try to open php my admin to create database it says "Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server." but the wamp is color green..please help me..i want to use joomla but i cant because of this..

my prob is that i'm not getting any icon for wampserver on my taskbar even after starting the server....
