Not able to switch php version on 64-bit Windows 7

Hi..
Im having Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Since, we need to have PHP 5.2.9 active, we had to download it and install it.

Now, my WAMP has 2 options in the PHP VERSION, 5.3 and 5.2.9 .

But when I switch to 5.2.9, then the WAMP server never gets to GREEN color.

I have already tried retstarting it 4-5 times.

How can we fix this ?

U can't use apache 64 with. Php32bit

At the moment you can only get php5.3 in 64bit

So you will need to change apache to 32bit too if you need php5.2

Uninstall the 64 bit pack and download install the 32 bit one ?

Just download apache 2.2.17 from the add-on menu above

And do as u did with php

Hi..
I just downloaded that.

Installed.
Activated.
So, APACHE 2.2.17 and PHP 5.2.9 is active now.

No success yet!

Its still showing ORANGE, not getting green sad smiley

sorry.. maybe you hae installed apache2.2.17 oer the other one.. i have not used the new wamp yet so i dunno how its setup ....


can i use teamviwer to set it up for you?


otherwise.. goto c:\wamp\bin\apache\

rename the folder inside to something else.. then install the exe

now you should get a new folder.

Okay, can you send me the old WAMP server download link ?

I dont see any link for older releases here on the official website, so facing problem.

did you try above?


goto c:\wamp\bin\apache


rename the folder inside to something else or delete it


then install the exe you downlaoded from my site.


anyway you can get the old wampserver from [jlbn.net]
