MYSQL 5.1.53 is now available as an addon.

PHP 5.2.15 is now available as an addon.

PHP 5.3.4 is now available as an addon.

Due to some changes being made with Unofficial WampServer I wont be releasing a new version with these addons yet.

Also note - Although PHP 5.3.4 changelog states

■Fixed bug #50953 (socket will not connect to IPv4 address when the host has both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, on Windows). (Gustavo, Pierre)

This fix only seems to work for fsockopen etc and the issue still persists with the mysqlnd driver.

So if your phpmyadmin is not loading correctly using php5.3.0+ then ...

Open  c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Make sure the file has

127.0.0.1  localhost

and make sure the file does NOT have

::1  localhost

Trying to save the file may be difficult to do due to microsoft security. Move the HOSTS file to your desktop then try again , and move the file back (the HOSTS file has no file extention, so make sure when you save it , the text editor does not add one (recommend Notepad++))


The correct hosts file should look like this (download also available)>> [pampserver.com]

yay 5.2 is gone!


do you think i should pull the 5.2.15 addon? it doesnt say how serious the bug is?

i would have liked to keep it from completeness sake

Attention avec la version 5.1.54 de mysql...Les utilisateur avec des droits sur 127.0.0.1 et uniquement 127.0.0.1 (pas locahost ou autre) semblent ne pas pouvoir se connecter...
Je n'ai pas encore isolé l'origine du problème, mais je tenais à le signaler.

EDIT : Pour une raison que j'ignore encore, mysql ne veux plus prendre en compte mon fichier my.ini
Je vais faire un post séparé pour ce problème.
Peut être est-ce un hasard ?

Im confused since when is MYSQL 5.5.8 not beta? It is now being shown as a stable release ??

whats happened with WampServer2.1a????

why is it 51MB ??

Its seems to have some bugs in it too... It doesnt install properly over wampserver2.0

and the 64bit version - is only mysql that is 64bits... php and apache are still 32bit...

Bonsoir ou bonjour vu l'heure,

tout d'abord je souhaites @ tous de JOYEUSES FÊTES !!!

Ensuite, j'avais pas envie d'attendre pour avoir ma nouvelle version de Wampserver et OH surprise elle est arrivée avec quelques questions.

Comme dit stevenmartin99, je trouve ça bizarre aussi que le fichier pèse aussi lourd. Est-ce normal ou pas ??

Ensuite je me suis aperçu qu'il y avait pas toutes les mises à jour de faite, en effet Php 5.3.3 peut être mise à jour en Php 5.3.4 et PhpMyadmin 3.2.0.1 en PhpMyadmin 3.3.8.1 (version 32bits pour les 2). Je voulais savoir si ça était fait exprès ou pas ??

Enfin une dernière chose, il faudrait changer dans la rubrique "DOWNLOAD" , TELECHARGER WampServer 2.1a (64 bits) en "TELECHARGER WampServer 2.1a (32 bits)". <-- fait le 27/12/2010

As WampServer seems to be back up and running ( i have emailed and they have fixed the 64bit version to included 64bit versions of apache and php) there is no need to keep Unofficial WampServer2 or WampServer64


The new WampServer2.1c ( which is not available from this site yet as the links are incorrect) comes in 32 and 64 bit full

Thanks for the feedback over the past 6months on Unofficial WampServer, I will continue it , if it becomes nessecary in the future.
