lol I could have Gussed Yeah XAMP hasn't been on my computer for over a year. I had it before Wamp Even though you uninstall xamp it leves somethings behind like the my.ini in the windows folder

UM ok After Uninstalling Deleteing reg lines and Rebooting, installed 2.0b and the first thing I did was go to 127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin and I got the same darn error. Not shure what I am doing wrong. like I should see the phpmyadmin when I first install.... Right? I have Fellowed both of JlBN wamp setup and password setup tuts and failer is what I get What sucks It that using a older version

If thats True then your Host File has been changed accidentally Do to another program or virus. Your host File is located ..\windows\system32\Drivers\ect Right click on the File that Says "host" and open with "notepad" It should look like the fellowing # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. #

um I just used an add-on and added it. and I have done a clean install/register clean. I had the newest version and it wasn't working so I downloaded the add-on to get it to work

one gets this error when not letting something to load compleatly stop all services if you recive an error after trying to stop services then reboot your computer then run wamp again do a start/stop/start/reboot all servers (that that order) if it doesn't go white then open localhost in a browser if you get any page then click "mysql" then log and see if there is any error if you

Um IDK where to find the "Setup Password" or "personal websites" I am a noob but not retarded this isn;t in the mi.ini is it? I know I change the password in the PhpMyAdmin and in .conf.inc but I guess I need to do more reading
