If these can help, what i did before i reinstall Wamp (i had to reimage server after a bug): 1- Removed Windows Process Access Service 2- Removed IIS 7 webservice role 3-Installed visual c++ 4- Then installed wamp I am using windows server 2008 64 Bit. Thank you again

Hi, Wamp doesnt start. It remains yellow instead of green. Worst still when i want to launch phpMyAdmin it always instead launches firefoz setup while firefox is already setted up. Please help me

Hi , In phpMyAdmin, click users, tic the one you want to update/change info and hit "edit privileges", in the popup there is the "change password" and there is the "login information/copy user". Which one is best if all i want is to add pwd to root? Need this to help others. Thank you

Hi, I once read a post (Google search) that says Wampserver per se doesn't offer FTP capabilities. As things do evolve it may not be true anymore with current wamp versions? Said this because on localhost i see FTP among loaded extensions. Am i having false-hopes and wamp still doesnt do FTP and should i look for alternate solutions? If first theory is false, then how to setup FTP with W

Hi, I am on production environment and the root (no password) is not allowed. Because of that i can't use phpMyAdmin. How can i set a user directly into the mysql console in order to start using phpMyAdmin? Thanks

Ok c'est réglé. Pour ceux que ca peut interesser, voici les étapes: 1- Start > administrative tools > server manager, make sure to remove Web service Role. Reboot 2- Same tool, uninstall Windows Process Activation feature. Reboot That's it! IIS would be gone and Wamp will now be active

Bonjour, J'essaie d'installer wamp sur Windows server 2008 mais IIS 7, qui est installé par défaut, semble occuper un des ports donc l'installion de wamp echoue. Impossible de trouver un document simple et concis sur comment désinstaller IIS. J'ai besoin d'aide. Quelqu'un sait comment désinstaller IIS interactivement (sans utiliser de console de commandes car j'y connais rien). Merci

Merci Otomatic pour ton aide mais définitivement aucune solution ne marche pour moi. Mysql refuse défintivement tout acces a root@localhost. J'avais crée un autre super utilisateur sur user, je ne sais pas pourquoi mysql ne m'offre pas de l'utiliser. Que faire?

NOTE: version française plus loin Why should i go by DOS to reconfigure MySql server access? I don't know how to use DOS screens, makes me run away (LOL). Probleme reglé! Les chemins sont identiques mais pas les bons. En fait pour une raison que j'ignore dans les repertoires alias et directory j'avais C:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin2.10.1/ Au lieu de C:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin2.11.6/ J'ai remplacé le 2.10.1 par 2.11.6 dans le fichier texte puis sauvegardé et depuis j'accède à phpMyAdmin ) Merci PS: .htaccess n'existait pas, j'ai du le créer

Faudrait verifier dans les options de ie si les scripts sont alloués. Selon le niveau de securité cela peut être désactivé à defaut. Surtout que microsoft se prend de plus en plus pour notre papa, il décide pour nous ce qui est dangereux ou pas. Comme c'est sympa!
