The easiest solution was to uninstall WampServer 2.5 and install WampServer 2.3

I installed a fresh copy of WampServer 2.5 32 bit on a Windows 7 computer. I can get the included apps to run (wbgrind, etc.) but if I create my own alias, I can't get to it. I get this message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /testdrive2/ on this server. Apache/2.4.9 (Win32) PHP/5.5.12 Server at localhost Port 80 I looked at the alias file for webgrind and modified my own

Oh yes, there's also the "Forbidden" message that comes up in the browser when we try to get to one of our own aliases.

When I first started using WampServer, it was great! It was plug and play and worked out of the box. With the latest release, it has been a real pain. Every time I help a coworker install it, it never works right, and configuring it is a nightmare. Config files always open in Windows Notepad, no matter how I have my system settings. Config files have no line breaks and appear as a jumbl

When I try to upload files to the web server, the $_FILES array is empty. I have configured uploads in PHP.ini, and I have copied PHP.ini from my PHP folder to the Apache bin folder. I am running on Windows 7. What do I need to do to get file uploads to work?
