I think I'm hitting a limit that looks like a time limit, but it's probably something else. What I don't know. I just uninstalled 2.0 and installed 2.5. I also had to install MSVCR110.dll on my win 7 machine. 2.0 worked great, but the 2.5 icon is orange and the hover says the server is online, but no access when I click for phpmyadmin. Any ideas?

Turned-out it was an evil mcafee update. It wiped-out my port settings. That's five hours of my life I'll never get back.

Since last post, I've successfully used last week's restore point. That resolved my problem. Then I restarted and the problem's back! My wampserver 2.0 just stopped working out of the blue (I get a timeout error). It shows all white and continues to show white after I resart services. The only change to my system is a driver I added for a external drive. Skype isn't running. How do I begin to debug?

Thanks for the catch. I'll upgrade to Wampserver 2.4 instead. Are there any issues with maintaining Wampserver 2.0 and Wampserver 2.4 simultaneously as installed programs? Can I use them simultaneously without a conflict?

I'm currently using wampserver 2.0. Should I uninstall wampserver 2.0 before installing wamp5 or can I use both versions as needed?

RE: SQL JOIN. I'm joining a table with 150.000 rows, with a table with 12,000 rows, with a table with 2 rows. My JOIN query never stops. I reduced the size of my table with 150,000 rows to 500 rows and my JOIN query finishes after a second or two. I'm guessing that I have some kind of memory limit. What do you think? If it's a memory limit, which limits should I check?

I installed WAMPSERVER 2.0 in spring and used it successfully, most recently through late June. Now I need it again and it doesn't work and my WAMP icon is white. MYSQL works and I'm assuming that that means Apache works too, but no PHP. When I run a .PHP file , Firefox wants to download it. Any suggestions? Thanks, Niche
