Currently I have 9 sites up on webservers. I would prefer to work on these sites on WAMP my computer Mostly I need to update the sites on the WAMP and then move them to webserver. As I recall, when I previously used the Wamp I just stacked directories for sites under WWW and built separate MySql databases for each. I had a separate Drupal installation for each folder of course, but I was able to use the same server applications across all the installs. Not that it made that much difference actually. I'm sure this has been covered before I have installed the WAMP2 server about 6 times this morning and I keep getting an error password thing and it won't let me into the phpadmin.
