Keeping WAMP and production sites updated w each other

Currently I have 9 sites up on webservers.

I would prefer to work on these sites on WAMP my computer

Mostly I need to update the sites on the WAMP and then move them to webserver.

I do have the sites now on WAMP, but when I get in a hurry I often do not have time to test on WAMP.

The sites are cofigured and working on WAMP now.

At the current time the WAMP sites and those on the webserver are not in agreement, because I haven't been updating to keep the WAMP and webserver sites the same.

I need to go back and forth between the live site and WAMP, fix the sites and then have the sites equal.

Is there a document that deals with this?

Forgot to mention... the mysql databse and user name are identical on the webserver and wamp.

This is probably a no brainer... since it would appear I should just export the database from one and import to the other, then just copy the drupal installation from the updated version to the other.

I am just thinking I may be missing something

too many ways to do it; you can setup cronjob or use some paid script to auto sync data/db b/w live and local, or some many other ways winking smiley
