Hi,
The procedure I will give you will remove all the tree structure of Wampserver, including the local database and site. There will be nothing left of your Wordpress installations.
- 1 - Start the uninstallation of Wampserver by using the shortcut in the Start menu.
- 2 - Check that the installation folder has been deleted in its entirety, otherwise delete the folder manually.

Hi,
If you deleted the folder directly without deleting the database in MySQL, there is still a method that should work to delete it in MySQL.
Open the MySQL console:
Left-Click -> MysQL -> MySQL Console Click OK for root
At Enter Password: Type your password for root or hit Enter if no password
At the mysql> prompt type:
SHOW DATABASES;

But deleting the folder corresponding to the database is not the right method.
You must delete a database via a database manager such as PhpMyAdmin or Adminer in order to delete any reference to that database in MySQL itself.

No. But, to use port 8000, do as I explained in my previous message. Forum: WampServer English
Hi,

Why port 8000 ?
Have you added port 8000 as a listening port for Apache?
If you want to use port 8000, you must - at least - tell Apache that you have to listen on this port.
And to do this correctly, you must use the tools integrated into Wampserver.
Right-Click -> Tools -> Add a listen port for Apache then choose 8000

PhpMyAdmin from Wampserver is not launched as HTTPS : 'http://localhost/phpmyadmin/'
It seems that more and more Chrome (Google) wants to behave like a web boss and wants to force the use of https, in the same way that it hijacked the tld ".dev"

However, it is very easy to search and find in the official PHP documentation.

Hi,
What's the point of me getting bored writing a little topo about how to use MariaDB (mariadb_support.txt) where it is explained how to activate or deactivate MariaDB.
If you want to use Wampserver only with Apache and PHP, without any database manager, it's very simple:
Right-click wampmanager tray icon -> Wamp settings -> Allow MySQL (To uncheck it)

Hi,
Do not use an alias, which necessarily goes through "localhost". For all your local sites, use VirtualHost, as with all hosting providers.

Pour opcache et xdebug, pas besoin d'aller commenter ou décommenter les lignes afférentes, ça se fait via les menus de Wampmanager :
