Wampserver will not go on line

I have installed wampserver but when I try to put it on line I get an error message stating:


Could not execute menu item (internal error) (exception) Could not perform service action: The service has not been started

I have uninstalled it and removed registry items and re-installed but I still get the same error message. What is wrong and how is it resolved?

Something is using port 80 on ur pc

It show what a joke this wamp is design for local host and no conf file made for it do like I did move to Xammp it made for localhost wand work right away.

Same on them to be so stupid not to have it configure for local host

i have the same can not be able to start on line i tried it very much please solve this problem

Number 1,

you probably do not want to put it ONLINE at all. Putting it online just changes a setting that allows apache to be accessed from anywhere on the internet. Leave it offline ( accessible only from 127.0.0.1 ) at least until you have it working properly.

If you get this error message it usually means that Apache has not started properly.

a. Is wamp manager icon GREEN in your system tray??

If not check to see what else is using port 80? And then remove it!
