Dear all,

I would like to upgrade my PHP from 5.3.9 to 5.3.10
Due to
Security Fixes in PHP 5.3.10:
Fixed arbitrary remote code execution vulnerability reported by Stefan Esser, CVE-2012-0830.
All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to PHP 5.3.10.

I downloaded from
[windows.php.net]
VC9 x86 Thread Safe (2012-Feb-02 21:56:19)

Then I unzip the file, paste the folder to
C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.3.10

I copy 3 files from 5.3.9
-php.ini
-phpForApache.ini
-wampserver.conf

Inside php.ini and phpForApache.ini, I had replace all 5.3.9 to 5.3.10

I was not able to start the wamp server, it turn into yellow icon. I check inside. Only Apache Server not able to start, I not able to find any error message there.

I used to be using this way to upgrade 5.2.X

Please advice, or add the PHP Add-on to it.
Thanks!

Hello Shiroamada,
I came across the same problem and after much research, I discovered that I need the 64 bit version of thread safe php which unfortunately is not available at the official php site. I downloaded one from [www.anindya.com] which solved the issue for me.
