Localhost Folders missing

I can no longer see my localhost folders. When I click localhost I get the following:

INDEX OF/

[DIR] the name of my folder
[DIR]
[DIR]

I am not sure why my folder icon structure has been reconfigured this way. however, when I view the www directory i can see the folders icons.

Seems you remove or overwrite the index.php file in www folder sad smiley
