Mysql change default timezone

Hi

How do I change mysql default time zone ?
tried in mysqld and wampmysqld my.ini sections to add
default-time-zone="Europe/London" but then the mysql serv doesn't start

need to add those files [dev.mysql.com]
for
[wampmysqld]
default-time-zone='Europe/London'
to work
