WampServer

I've been using wamp for quite a while with no problems but made a stupid mistake by changing my sql DB password. This locked my admin so had to change password settings in console & config file (followed instructions from another forum). Now I am in a complete mess! Tried Un-installing & re-installing wamp, restored laptop to factory settings & registry cleaned but at a complete loss. Last dmp is:

when restored back to manufacture, your pc just like new and no way you can have same problem again, so it must be some websoft/firewall/antivirus that block wamp
