After 8 years using Wamp


Windows is an awesome OS to have WAMP ONLINE running in the background, truthfully I have never been hacked in 8 years.

Remember most ISP's today offer much higher download/upload speeds if comparing 5 years ago those dinosaur years.
Computers are 100% faster especially the i7 i5 today's generation.
Just make sure you secure your wamp server before it ever goes live!
Loads of great TUTORIALS out there to follow when it comes to securing WAMP.

(Google is your best friend)

Hey Endless,

Would you mind posting the articles you like the best, regarding securing WAMPServer for use as a ON INTERNET web server.

I am sure it would be a useful resource for others.

I know there are many tutorial pages out there about WAMPServer but to be honest most are at best old, and at worst wrong anyway.

Maybe between us we can create a Sticky document for this site, for those that want to do this, so they can do so with some really useful details under their belt.
