WampServer

I installed php 5.31, 5.3, 5.29 alongside php 5.4. PHP 5.4 runs fine. Cannot run any of the former three. Am running wampserver 2.2, apache 2.2.22 on Windows 7 64 bit. Any clue on what's happening? Thanks.

you need to install another version of apache too

the ones that come with wamp wont work with the addons, just install an apache addon and it will run

I installed Apache 2.0.58 and 2.23 addons. Neither works with php 5.29, 5.30. 5.31, 5.43 in all combinations. My wamp needless to say, still works with Apache 2.2.22 and php 5.43. These two came with the original wampserver installation. Am I missing something here?

maybe you are using wampserver 64 bit..


all the addons are 32bit because 64bit wasnt available when they were made

Yes, I'm using wampservver 64 bit. Should I downgrade to a 32 bit version? What do you see as potential problems?

I would start again with the 32 bit version of wamp. No issues or problem.

Reason is that there are more extensions available for 32bit currently. You should see no real difference other than that.

I started over and installed ws 32 bit. Now all add ons seem to work fine. Thanks!
