How odd.. I did input it exactly "ENGINE=MyISAM", replacing the "M-- ...." Im way lost.. Ok, the sql backup file came from godaddy, and I tried to import that file into my wamp, (Apache 2.4.2, php 5.4.3, MySQL 5.5.24), and that is when I got the error message. So, are you saying I open the sql file and edit it (change 'M-- MySQL dump 10.11' to 'Engine = MyISAM')? Do I use a simple text editor? I have never touched sql before. Would that be just the one instance?

Hi, I took my last site off of godaddy to serve on my wamp with 2 working wordpress sites. Got it!! I just didn't think the connection was making it to the wamp pc, so I went back to the modem/router and tried deleting the port forward and reissuing it. That worked. Fwew. Site back up and running.

My wamp virtual host sites worked great until this morning, now I get "connection has timed out" when trying to access my domains, and if I just type in the direct ip (from outside my network--mostly from my pdas internet connection). I decided to use a clean httpd.conf and start over using the link RiggsFolley from the last response. Now when I try to access my domain from inside (localhost) or outside (through my cell phones network--not wifi) I get "Forbidden, you dont have permission to access...." Wampserver 2.2 with Apache 2.4.2 on windows 7 Home Prem. using wordpress. Hi, I am trying to get virtual hosts to work. I followed all of the steps listed in the forums, and what happens now is when I check my site from a different machine, from a different network, I get "Index of /" and the files for the 2 web sites I have in there.
