It still doesn;t work In my router settings under port forward, It askes me to choose lan ip first then I can add port forards to that lan ip. But what happens if when I trun on my pc another time I get a different local ip? I need more help. - everyone seems to get this working so easily , why can;t mine be as simple?

CAn I set my pc to use a staic ip while all others are dyamic? if so then I ahve just set mine to 192.168.1.100 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and default gateway of 192.168.1.1 but what do i use for the two DNS boxes?

Yep, I did that but my browser just says page cannot be displayed and I am using a pc outside of our network, I ahve set a laptop to use a neighbours wi-fi (go permission first)

I ahve the latest version of WAMP installed on Vista Home Premium. Every time my computer starts up, I get a message stating that a startup program has been blocked. The program which has been blocked is "Aeston Tray Menu" which is the control panel in the computers system tray. Is there a way to stop this being blocked upon startup? Thanks Neil

Hi, I am using Vista but i have never had any problems with wamp on vista or xp before? I have installed wamp and when i open IE and type in localhost in the address bar and press enter, it asks me to download a file called localhots.ink and tells me it has to open it in a new window? Hey, I set my root folder as My Documents/WWW when installing wamp and and when i go to localhost in a browser i get the "indoex of" the files and folders in the WWW directory. I have just added a huge folder of files to the WWW file and i cannot seem to view it within localhost. I ahve restarted and refreshed loads of times but it says it is not there. Any idea?
