Hi,
I am using Vista but i have never had any problems with wamp on vista or xp before?

I have installed wamp and when i open IE and type in localhost in the address bar and press enter, it asks me to download a file called localhots.ink and tells me it has to open it in a new window?

Can anyone help me with this?

Sounds like you have an icon on your desktop called localhost. If so you need to delete it

Thanks so much, That was the problem. I renamed the localhost shortcut on my desktop to something different and now all is fine.
