Hey Guys I've been running the 'unofficial' wamp64 v1.0 for ages with no problems. Just installed latest version,2.2 now, fresh. I assume the old 'how to' files are still relevant? Anyway I digress. Before it was not possible to run php4 with php5 together,is this now possible? Reason I ask is that it seems it's now possible to run 2 instances of php....... "2. Is it possibl

I too have/had this problem. I can log in to the console with the password I made for 'root' but not with the password I made for a new user? It's not a big deal now as I can actually log in,maybe you can try that? On a side note is it possible to log in with the users password instead of root's password?

I'm getting this error again I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I don't know the fix. I used to run wamp on xp x86,I now use xp x64. I use my wamp folder from my old XP x86 install. The root to opera has changed from "C:\Program Files" to "C:\Program Files (x86)" I thought I'd found the answer by changing the lines in wampmanager.ini but when I start wamp agai

I tried this once and it did not work. I think that your pc has to be named exactly like it was for the old wamp for it to work? I had a wamp installation on a pc that was n

I use DD-WRT in my Linksys and have no problems. If I type my IP in the address bar My website pops up. I have not needed to open port 80 in my windows firewall. You need to tell the internet where your IP is. This means by DNS or by telling your domain name host. Have you set up your virtual Host file? The guides you have been directed to are marvelous. They worked for me and countles

Your isp will have either assigned you a static or dynamic. Have you done the dyndns?... If you have a dynamic it will change all the time you login to your isp. Are u using your lan ip? Test your openness here... Port 80 will be open when running wamp. I'm behind a router with a hardware firewall and I have not had ANY antivirus installed for the last 5yrs,you don't need it! Antivirus will slow your pc down and I have known antivirus to 'actually' trash a pc (I fix pc's,remove infections etc for a living). I also don't have a 3rd party firewall,I use windows own built in f

I've come across another problem. Comparing these 2... If you click on history graph or lap by lap graph one works one doesn't. I've researched into the problem. The graphs are made by jpgraph from here.. I'm presuming the author of the software used the PHP4 version which states that it won't run on PHP5. I've downloaded both versions, changed files, swapped files etc etc and g

115. Backups
From the backup Guide....... BACKUPS As mentioned above, we only show the simplest method to backup, so we suggest you set your MySQL storage default type to MyISAM as follows: Open file my.ini in folder C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.0.xx and find this line: default-storage-engine=INNODB Now that we're on wap 2.0h and mysql 5.1.xx do we still need to do this? I don't see this line in my.in

I have some software that works with PHP4. Unfortunately wamp and my forum use PHP5. Mostly the software works but it does generate a lot of errors. I can only see 2 ways of correcting my problem. 1:-Paying someone to alter the software to work with PHP5. 2:-Somehow configuring wamp to let ONLY the software use PHP4. I had installed PHP4 into a test enviroment and while the software
