Hello all. Still a newbie..but each day I am getting closer and closer. Just to recap, my goal for installing WAMP is to be able have the Submit buttons on my DW forms work for our local intranet. I have been searching the forums like mad but I still have a few basic questions. 1.Do all of my php and html files need to live on the PC running WAMP? I ask because this is not a PC that is connec

Thanks for the input everyone. I have made progress! I un/reinstalled WAMP and I have all the services running now. I even have the WAMP 5 page come up when I launch Local host. Woo-hoo! Okay.. I'm about to give up and that is just not my style. To make a long story short, I'm a sys admin/tech support/ web designer. I work for a very small company that I am abou to leave and am trying to finish an IntrAnet for them. I have a really nice intranet built and I they have a need for a few forms. I can create the forms easily but I need to get the "Submit button" to work

Hi there. I am following a tutorial from Lynda.com on how to use WAMP. I have installed WAMP 1.64 on a Win XP PRo PC with firewalls turned off. When I type in I get a " Do you want to save this file?" question. So basically it won't do anything. I am a web designer and am BRAND new to the PHP world. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
