Had everything working this morning after re-installing.. but after i edited the httpd-vhosts I can't view phpadmin page and isn't working aswell. When I do this step: "Now open httpd-vhost.conf and search for this line: #NameVirtualHost *:80 Change it to this: NameVirtualHost your.ip.address.here:80 NameVirtualHost your.ip.address.here:81 NameVirtualHost your.ip.address.here:8080..'.:

Bleh, deleted wamp folder too, still nothing.. Just going to reload my laptop when I get home and start freeeeeeesh! before reading your post, I re-installed WAMP but didn't delete the wamp folder.. and gave the same error.. Ill try folling your tut like a hawk when I get home, if I don't come right.. god help me! Ill dl and çheck' a few other links on your site seeing as you such a nice guy. ta Charl

Having trobble with following your tutorial: then type as belows, remember case is sensitive: SET PASSWORD FOR root@localhost=PASSWORD('your_new_password'); Its give ERROR 1064 you have an error in sql syntax.. The easiest way for me to explain this is: Think the prob might have come about following a tut that wasn't relavent but i didn't realise till it was too late.
