I think I figured my issue out. I made an alias to my USB flash drive for testing a site I had on there. It worked and I removed the USB flash drive and turned off my system. When I restarted my laptop later, Apache would not start. Once I deleted the Alias to my USB flash drive, Apache started as normal.

I essentially have this same issue. My installation was working fine for about a week and today is stopped working. The Apache service will not start up. My System Event Log directs me to the service vendor and refers to a "server-specific error code 1". I noticed that Port 80 is not being used...I thought Apache uses this port? Any help is appreciated. Rob
