this might not be a "wampserver" release BUT i wanted to alert of a new version of adminer so it can be updated on the wamp homepage it appears there is an adminer 4.8.4 version available.

for those already who have a https host,do we need to enable anything else? i use certifytheweb tool to get trusted ssl certificates for my virtualhost it is a neat idea that will make things simpler for peoppe,but for those who already have https setup,is any additional steps needed to stay on https?

you dont need to put in your ip address to use ssl. i use ssl on my wampserver with no issues and i use an actual trusted ssl certificate using an app called "certifytheweb" my advice to you is backup your important files and do a complete reinstall of wampserver and its a good thing to notice,your port 80 config is in your vhosts file. your ssl port 443 config is your httpd-ssl file

you just need to leave it as require local remove require 124.100 local will work for all addresses so you dont need to specify any other ones.

i just wanted to thank otomatic for all the hard work they have done to keep maintaining this entire huge project for everyone to enjoy. i went from not knowing how to do anything to running my own site within a matter of months! i have placed a link on my website to advertise wampserver so others can see how great and versatile it is im looking forward to learning more cool things in the fut

hello i think you need to use a virtual host first before using any forums or posting apps. otherwise you will get errors. try making virtual host first then go ahead and install your apps.

sometimes i too get that violation error,just restarting the computer helps. its rare it happens though,maybe a memory leak somewhere im not overly sure. it seems to happen most when updating mysql/mariadb/php settings using the tray menu.

i only have one site at the moment,i use mariadb 10.4 series and wanted to test a diff app on a non visible part of my website possibly using a temporary port for the new mariadb version,as my 10.4 uses port 3306 as the default just not very sure how to do this.

i enabled the http2 module and it says djswebserver.dynet.com HTTP/2 not supported. It appears that this server is running Apache. Fortunately, the recent versions of Apache come with HTTP/2 support. so im a bit confused after enabling the module it still says no support? my site has a ssl cert on it and is accessible on both port 80 and 443

i downloaded the new version and backed up my databases from the old version. i selected the new version in wamp server then signed into phpmyadmin and imported the databases. upgrade complete?

so i have 10.4.26 and want to update to 10.4.27 can i go to the maria db website and download it and overwrite the old files with the new ones? how do we successfully update database versions without losing passwords/databases?

hi! so i have been using php 8.0 as a default for awhile now,i have installed the latest php 8.1 64 bit onto my wampserver and switched it to php 8.1 however CLI is still using php 8.0 and update 3.3.0 removed the ability to change that,how can i switch cli to 8.1 so i can delete php 8.0?

hi! so i have 2 virtual hosts,and id like them both to use ssl. when i install the cert for the 2nd host,it gives a warning that the cert is not valid for the domain and points back to the original virtual host. is there a way to have multiple hosts using their own ssl certs?
