The problem seems to be that the installer is not letting me choose where wamp is installed. I have 2 wamp directories: c:\wamp - which is 7 or 8 years old and not used. c:\wamp64 - which is my current operating dir. I just renamed the c:\wamp to c:\old_wamp. Then tried to install the Apache update and got a new error: ===================================================== | Preparin

Ok, nevermind on the databases. It appears when installing, my databases were moved under mysql version 8.0.18, but I had changed to version 5.7.36. I changed it back to ver8 and they're back. Just have that final question on removing projects from "Your Projects" section of wampmanager homepage. Also, is there a way to send you or the team a small donation? I really appreciate

Ha! Well, that was easy enough... thanks! So, I've got phpmyadmin working now, but it's not showing any of my databases. How do I fix that? Also, one more thing... is there a way to remove old projects under "Your Projects" on the Wampserver Homepage? Thanks so much for your help on this. I'm almost back to production mode. Mark

Hi, Ok, so far so good! I commented out that line in my.ini and repaired Wampmanager.ini and now I can start WAMP! I started WAMP and removed the tick from MariaDB so that only MySQL is ticked. I updated my WAMP install to 3.2.5, updated a couple VC packages and VC checker says all updates installed. I also updated the Aestan Tray Menu to 3.2.4.2. Now when I go to start WAMP, I'm getting an Aestan Tray Menu dialog popup, which says: >The configuration file contains a syntax error on line 650: > Unrecognized parameter name "Type" I click OK and it goes away.
