There is a very good manual about this problem by CyberSpatium. It is called WAMP Manual and you can find the main forum. Have a look at it. I had the same problem as well. After reading it I sorted out all. Very good manual!

I typed and clicked Add server. I typed password and clicked Add button at the bottom. However when I came back to phpMyAdmin setup page, I am not able to save in configuration. The button save is not highlighted. What is wrong with this? How can I save it. If any one give me advice or guidance, I appreciate it. Thanks.

I'd like to install GD library for Drupal. I found a comment as following. ---"Many thanks for your response. I use Wamp server, which installs Apache, PHP & MySQL simultaneously. From the task bar on only had to click on GD to initiate service. Thank you again." Is there any one tell me how to install GD library or find the task bar as above? A novice needs your kind help. I put the following in the address bar, however I get the Forbidden message. Forbidden You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server. How can I fix it? Any comment will be appreciated.

I installed wamp5 last week. When I start my computer apache does not start sometimes. So I go to Start > right click My computer > manage and come to Computer management. I installed PHP 5.2.3, MySQL and apache one by one. Then I found this WAMPSERVER. I'd like to use this, instead of previous ones. What is the best way to do? Do I need to uninstall all of them first then installing Wampserver? If so how can I uninstall all of them? Or is there any easier way in stead of uninstalling them?
