not able to save server

I typed [localhost] and clicked Add server.
I typed password and clicked Add button at the bottom. However when I came back to phpMyAdmin setup page, I am not able to save in configuration. The button save is not highlighted.
What is wrong with this? How can I save it.
If any one give me advice or guidance, I appreciate it.

I downloaded new phpMyAdmin and replace it with old one and it is working well now.
