Can you force WAMP to use Notepad++ when edit WAMP's PHP.INI ? Each time I open WAMP this file is opened with the regular Windows notepad. Navigating manually to the WAMP's PHP.INI file is sisyphic and there are several files with the same name (PHP.INI) coming with the program and their locatins can changed in some releases so in any case it is better to access the file than the WAMP GUI b

But then it opens in the regular Windows txt editor and that's not very comfortable. Can I open the file manually with Notpad++ Somehow? Should I delete any configuration I already did in the C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.5.12, opened php.ini?

I went to C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.5.12, opened php.ini and changed the php memory limit from 128M to 256M, saved , and restarted all services. I also cleaned my browsers' cache to avoid any possible confusion. I then went to localhost > phpinfo() but there it is still "stuck" on 128. I've double checked everything and all should be fine, so why these changes in php.ini doesn't effect

Hello dev team; I have installed Drupal 8 several times with WAMP. I like WAMP very much as I find it a very straight forward program, easy to use and maintain. I am also a Drupal user for years and been doing Basic Drupal usage guidance and teaching to others several times: Some fresh students (in private guidance or in tech collages) and especially many auto-didactic trying-to-install use

I think I didn't understand your answer: I haven't really learned PHP yet, and have no serious understanding of the phrase "xdebugger" besides knowing it's a PHP debugger. I checked that on another PC befroe 3 days and all work. I thought I should bring this to your note. Have no idea what to do with this and some guys hadn't so I asked here. You might agree to tell me what exactly need

I went to php.ini and added in the end of file (under the last row of Xdebug) this: xdebug.max_nesting_level=256 saved, refreshed wamp, restarted all wamp services. Yet when I ran phpinfo() It seems to be setted to 100 (as default), as can be seen from the following table. This problem didn't occur in another PC, in which I did the exact pattern of activities... --- Directive Local Value

As you can tell I'm not an SQL programmer. I lost you here --- I don't understand if the problem comes from a specific DB or is something general? Can you please suggest me what to me manually via Windows\notepad++ ?

One small question just to make sure I understand you right: When you say that my DB is corrupted I guess you don't talk on a specific site I store at the WAMP localhost but on somekind of an external DB that mySQL itself uses which is called InnoDB? Thanks,

Indeed I have no intention of writing a novel: I couldn't understand your question --- I have no error when I double click on this service called "wampmysqld64". Surly there's also no such task at the task manager. I didn't know if it's Okay to paste here so much text, but here it is - The whole text of my mySQL.log file: 2015-11-23 13:36:07 4516 Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled

Things I tried: 1. I went to my.ini and changed as you suggested. I saved and RAS. It was still Red, so I right-clicked on the WAMP icon and clicked refresh and than RAS - also didn't help. 2. I went to services and unchecked the service (as was in the start), applied, and saved. Then, considering that my.ini was still changed, I just RAS. It was still red, so I right-clicked on the WAMP ic

Hey man: I went to msconfig > services > wampmysqld64 and it was unchecked and it's status was "Stopped", so I check-marked it and restarted all services. The WAMP icon then became Red instead of Orange and the service status was still "Stopped". Then I restarted my computer and started WAMP --- Again, it was red instead of Orange, and the service status was still &qu

While reading this page I noticed the suggestion of checking the log. Well, I checked at C:\ > Wamp > Logs > mysql.log, and when I opened the file it was totally empty --- Like something has deleted all it's content. I must say I haven't installed any software in the last week and generally I'm the only human who uses my PC, so I've no idea why would that happen. I have detailed my

Here is a stepped description of the prob, thanks in advance!: --- Background --- I use Windows 10 home & WAMP server 2.5 that until the last week worked just fine. At start, I thought WAMP orangized because of an Apache problem, so I have tested port 80 and vindicated that indeed, Apache uses this port. I also totally closed skype and restarted all services. My port 80 is used by Ap
