I changed things back the way they were. Okay. All the rest I did a couple of times already (not meant to sound ungrateful at all!). I started the service, but the Wamp icon is (still) orange. I checked, and it is Apache which is not working. I tested the port, and nothing is using it.

I have included both error logs in the initial post. Unfortunately I have no idea what to look for. I don't know much about these things at all. Do you have any idea? I was thinking: perhaps I should change the port into 8080 again (which I just tried, but suddenly that won't get the green icon anymore...), and subsequently find a way to change the portnumber for Wordpress in some file (do

I have the wampserver installed in order to install and run Wordpress. The first couple of days everything was fine, but all of a sudden the Wamp icon turned orange and remained that way. Now, I have searched days and hours in order to find a solution and read multiple sites and topics, to no avail.
