Dear Clair. Good point. I was just thinking that someone else may have had the problem. When I searched, there was a solution by loading php_smtp but I could not find a version compatible with version 5.4 of php. Thank you anyway. PS Cute name!

I am running Windows XP, Wamp 2.2, Apache 2.2.22, PHP 5.4.3, MySql 5.5.24, and the icon is GREEN. I have a simple php program to write an email using phpmailer. like many previous users, i have gotten this message this morning. #2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it yesterday, everything was fine. today, the icon stays yellow and i get the message when i try to go into admin. please help!.
