How do you check if port 80 is being used by another program? Also if port 80 is not even open, how do you open it up?

I have had WAMP installed for a good 6 months and have not had any problems, but now I cannot access localhost/, phpmyadmin or any other sites. They just do not load. I am trying to log onto my Mysql console, and I can't because I don't know the password. When I had mysql seperately I was able to set the password myself, but with WAMP I was not able to. How do I set the password for Mysql? Or does anyone know any other solutions for this. Also for phpmyadmin it says that it cannot load the mysql extension and as a solution it says a program called php-mysq
