Running Wampserver 2.2. Was working about a year ago but not now. Did the suggested research and figure Apache can't open port 80 do to another task having it. It appears MS IIS/7.5 is that task. I've read lots of approaches in this forum. One thread seems to go toward changing the WS port to something like 8080. The other is to not use the conflicting app (IIS in this case). I'm a

I've had wamp on my laptop for a few years now, but haven't had a need to use if for about a year now. When I recently fired it up I find that the html file is uploaded to the localhost but the page is not displayed. Following advice from another post, Apache wasn't starting. Can I just simply move the www folder from my C to my D drive or do I need to do something more complex? If so, could use a list of steps. I'm assuming I'll need to update my test server info in Dreamweaver for each site. Thanks Liv

"Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly." This happened suddenly and have never seen this type of error before. Rebooted laptop and restarted WAMP; no change. Looked in PHP log and Apache log. The only thing that looks out of the ordinary is this message in Apache log: p
