I found the lines later in the sample file. The filename should be changed. Still have problems with login and these problems are related to the login screen as i did not had those problems before. Now this is put aside as the big problem is going online with wampserver. Your guide is great as there is no other that can be better. Good job, thanks. But it doesnt solve my problems with Wam

Wampserver is a dream. I thought it was working the first time I installed it and after reinstall, (I think 10 times!!!) it does not work. But the truth must be that it never had worked and never will. Like most other free or "open" projects.

ping myip very fast even over openvpn its really fast. ping port 80 time out. Checking port 80, its open. To everyone who need to check ports and other things Shields up. Testing from dyndns with their open port tool. 77.211.167.13:80 is open and accepting connections. This indicates the port is not being blocked by either a firewall or your ISP and is currently operational.

I have follow your guide far too many times now. Support tell me to NOT FOLLOW your guide as my router is preconfigurated for Apache and MySQL but NOT for Wampserver. A lot of problems with login to mysql. The page dont refresh in Firefox. I can login sometimes by just use refresh, without username and pw. With username and pw maybe I need to refresh several times before I can login. Sometimes I need to reboot to fix login. But now as I know - its not a big problem. Alway be careful to logout every time AND ONLY ONE user. and a lot of refresh.

I have set it all. Firewall, router, VH, DNS? = using ext. ip and dyndns Maybe my ISP is blocking port 80. I dont think so. I have tried to change to 8080 but cant find where to change this in server. Firewall have 80, 8080 and HTTPS 443 In router Apache is set to port 80 and 443 as standard. Thanks, well we cant afford it. I was told that CNAME will solv the problem. It will take some time before I can try it. SSL is for protecting the members area with encryption and login. Not solved. It will never work as I use dyndns meaning I am a subdomain to dyndns. USELESS ! Server is running now but not as planned. WAMPServer is good, very easy to use. BUT ... it cannot run a subdomain on a subdomain.

I have just installed newest WAMP 2. In localhost everything seems to be ok. WAMPSERVER Homepage shows my projects. Server running and is online.
