yes just php.exe. php-win.exe doesn't work interactively. I figured out that when you exit php in the hard wa, you will see that it evaluates everything you typed before. php -a <?php echo 'something'; ?> CTRL-C now you get this output: something Previous versions shows output incrementally, while your session is still active. THe interactive mode for php can be triggered by using the -a flag. php -a The command line tells that the interactive mode is enabled. However, if I type in something like <?php echo 'something'; ?> no output will be generated. Is this a bug in php 5.3.0? In the previous wamp (php 5.2) it worked. This problem appears in WampServer 2.0i [11/07/09]

I am delighted about the new wampserver 2 features. But exactly the same problem here with Win Vista Business 64 bit. So the x64 is making the difference. This situation is highly impractical. Admins, would you please fix this bug? It's a show stopper... Many thanks.

Try running httpd.exe from the command line and see if it gives any errors there. In the link I gave I've now posted a solution to my problems and it might be of use to you.

After a lot of investigation, i found the possible causes > changing the language preference via the tray menu results in 6 serially appearing > error dialogs I uninstalled wampserver, removed directory, removed all references from registry. I reinstalled the program into c:\wamp No more error dialogs was no succes. Only the wampmanager got loaded. Launching it with different cred

I have some really strange troubles with wamp 1.7.3 I installed wamp under a administrator account in C:\Program Files (x86)\wamp Everything went fine. I use winxp prof 64 bit I.
